Economic situation of the Upper Kuban mountain population during the Civil War (March 1918 - March 1920)

The article is devoted to the analysis of the causes and consequences of crisis events in the economic situation of the population of the Upper Kuban mountain districts (on the territory of modern Karachay-Cherkessia) during the active phase of the Civil War (March 1918 - March 1920). The article considers the main economic measures in the region, carried out both by local Soviet authorities (March - September 1918) and by the White administration (September 1918 - March 1920) during the period when this territory was under their military-political control. The activities of regional authorities during this period were due to the military confrontation and were completely subjected to the situation at the front. In general, this period was marked by catastrophic consequences for agriculture, which was the basis of the economy of the mountain districts, and led to an increase in social tension in them. It seems that it was the neglect of the authorities, regardless of the regime, of the interests of the Muslim population that contributed to the indifferent attitude of the inhabitants of Karachay and Cherkessia towards the warring parties, which, to a large extent, explains the ease of repeated change of power in the region during the Civil War.

    Health system of Turkey (1920s - mid-1970s)

The article analyzes the health system of Turkey of the 20th century. The history of the formation of the health system of Turkey dates back to the era of the Ottoman Empire, when the laws on medical care dealt exclusively with the provision of emergency care during the war. These responsibilities were assigned to the Department of Health within the Ministry of the Interior. The Ministry of Health was created in May 1920, and legislative acts on the organization of medical services were adopted in the first years of the existence of the Republic of Turkey. In Turkey, over the years of the republic, significant work has been done to create and strengthen a network of medical institutions, train medical personnel, and establish sanitary and epidemiological supervision. The State plays an important role in this sector of social life [1; 89]. The first Minister of Health was Dr. Refik Saidam, who did a lot to create a health system, and the prerequisites for training medical personnel by introducing free accommodation and scholarships. During this period, the first model hospitals were built, and institutions were created whose goal was to combat such common diseases as malaria, tuberculosis and syphilis.

The international situation and the main trends in the foreign policy of the USSR on the eve of World War II

In the article, the authors turn to events related to the eve and the first days of the 1941-1945 Great Patriotic War. The policy, which was carried out primarily by England and France, called “the appeasement", caused the Munich conspiracy, opened the way for A. Hitler to launch World War II. The authors show the destructive influence of “the appeasement" pursued by the leaders E. Daladier and N. Chamberlain on the loss of political subjectness of a number of Eastern European countries and the further escalation of international political tension in Europe. The process of ideological confrontation between fascist Germany and the Soviet Union and Western countries was initiated by concluding an "Agreement against the Communist International" (Anti-Comintern Pact), as a result of which the Berlin-Rome-Tokyo axis was created. The authors prove that in this most difficult international situation, only the Soviet Union has set a course towards creating a system of collective security and repelling the aggressor. The authors also turn their attention to the role and significance for world history of the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact, which was signed on August 24, 1939 in Moscow by the heads of the foreign ministries of Germany and the Soviet Union.

The problem of victims of fascist terror among civilians during the Great Patriotic War: a case of Krasnodar Territory

The article discusses the debating problems of the Great Patriotic War, in particular, issues related to the determination of the number of victims of fascism among the civilian population, as well as a historical assessment of the atrocities of the Nazi invaders. The Extraordinary State Commission (ESC) created in 1942 to establish and investigate the atrocities of Nazi invaders made a significant contribution to the study of the scale and volume of human losses suffered by the Soviet Union during the German occupation. The duties of the ESC included the examination of burials, the collection and registration of testimonies of witnesses and released prisoners of prisons and concentration camps, the interrogation of military personnel, and the documentation of crimes committed by Nazi invaders. The authors analyze the scale and nature of the crimes of the III Reich’s military personnel committed in the Kuban Territory through the organization and conduct of punitive operations and mass executions in a number of municipalities of the Krasnodar Territory and Adyghea, as well as the efforts of the regional branch of the ESC to investigate them. The authors conclude that the development of a unified toolkit for determining the victims of war will increase the validity of data on human losses.

Newspaper as a form of social communication and management in the sociohistoric and sociocultural space

Studies on the theory of information and mass communication, as well as the sociology of journalism hardly touch on the problems of the functioning of the newspaper as a form of "social communication and management," as a "social fact of the literary order," and "literary phenomenon" in the sociohistoric and sociocultural space. In newspaper literature, significant aspects related to the social and other features of newspaper communication remain little studied. The relevance of the topic lies also in the fact that the institution of the media and communication is the most important structural element of the political system of society. The well-known politicians, political leaders, political scientists, sociologists, etc., as a rule, listen to the opinion, estimates, approaches, conclusions of popular print publications, which are the basis, the "elite" of newspaper periodicals. The activities of the newspaper as a form of social communication and management in the sociohistorical and sociocultural space always focused on strengthening political education, political socialization of the population, and awareness of their interests in the field of public power. The mass press and later television "were the first to signal to society about social and political conflicts", turning into effective "intermediaries in the relations of the population with the authorities", and playing a significant role "in the system of social representation of citizens".

Methodology for the theoretical reconstruction of social phenomena in the context of the transformation of the research space of sociology

At the beginning of the 21st century, social institutions are in the process of permanent transformation, which actualizes the need to develop new approaches for their research. This article attempts to theorize and formalize sociological knowledge. Existing and competing principles of sociology are private empirical generalizations of diverse factual material and do not provide a clear picture of the emergence and dynamics of social phenomena and processes. By their resolution, they do not fully reflect social reality as such. The goal of this work was to create an alternative, abstract consistent theoretical model, which can become a reliable prototype of any social institution of the phenomenon and process. Based on this, the use of such means and methods of science that can reveal its generalized and formal nature is indeed relevant. These are the mathematical theory of representations and the philosophical principle of symmetry, the particular manifestation of which is its calibration variety. Their use in this study made it possible to obtain an auto-isomorphic prototype of a social phenomenon. From the theoretical study conducted in this work, we can conclude the following: the obtained abstract model of the social mechanism has the ability to penetrate the realms of reality that lie outside the sensual empirical perception of social processes taking place in society. This makes it possible to reach the level of obtaining a generalized nature and laws of the state and dynamics of social processes taking place in society.

Technologies of internal affairs bodies’ interaction with mass media

The article analyzes various groups of technologies used in the practical activities of the press services of the internal affairs bodies in the field of media communication (interaction with the media). Based on the classification of modern communication technologies, the basic tools for use in the PR activities of law enforcement agencies are determined, making it possible to build interaction with various public structures. The basis of the full and qualitative representation of the law enforcement agency in the information and telecommunications space is the legally approved principles of police activity - openness and publicity. In this regard, one of the most important areas in the activities of the internal affairs bodies is public relations, primarily with the editors of traditional and newest media using various technologies. The work of the police, which satisfies the fundamental security needs of every citizen and society as a whole, is always the focus of the attention of journalists and the public. Police activity as an object of sociological analysis

Russian modern society poses increased requirements for the effectiveness and quality of performance of official duties by law enforcement officials. In this regard, a sociological analysis of the image (social portrait) of a police officer, which has developed in the consciousness of the Russian population, is of significant importance. The activities of the police are reflected in the public consciousness by trends and patterns of the state and dynamics of the level of personal security, which determines the significance of monitoring research of public opinion on the activities of the police. The methodological basis of this study is the general scientific methods of analyzing and summarizing the activities of law enforcement agencies. Based on the analysis of the regulations governing the activities of internal affairs officers, the criteria for ensuring the effective work of the police officer are determined. Based on the results of sociological studies conducted on the territory of the Russian Federation in 2016-2019, the author concludes that the level of public trust in the police and the degree of approval of the activities of law enforcement officers has gradually increased. In order to improve the activities of the bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, the authors offer to introduce mechanisms to ensure the information openness of the police, which will increase the level of public confidence in law enforcement agencies.

Trust in the police in Russian society: importance, relevant state, prospects

For modern society, one of the key factors for achieving internal stability is the effective work of law enforcement agencies. In turn, one of the most important conditions for the effectiveness of law enforcement agencies is the confidence of the population in the police. The article explores the social significance of trust in the police. The author proves that trust in the police is an important factor in the effectiveness of law enforcement agencies. An analysis is made of current trends in the formation of attitudes towards law enforcement agencies in the civilian environment. The trend towards stereotyping the perceptions of law enforcement officials is described. It is proved that the processes of borrowing someone else's experience and other people's ideas about the police, as well as the perception of media images of police officers, rather than the experience of interaction of the population with law enforcement agencies, have a predominant role in the formation of attitude to the police. The negative assessment of society on the quality of the work of internal affairs bodies was due to the presence of stereotypes about the preservation in their functionality of opportunistic practices that took place in the 1990s. The author suggests that it is necessary to convey a positive model of the perception of law enforcement agencies in Russian society using modern information technologies.

Entrepreneurial culture: problems in determining meaningful sense

The sociological analysis of entrepreneurial culture is faced with a number of methodological difficulties, due, among other things, to the inconsistency of the conceptual apparatus. Many significantly different definitions of the concept of "entrepreneurial culture", as well as the simultaneous existence of definitions close in meaning, complicate theoretical and applied sociological analysis, especially at the level of developing indicators of manifestations of entrepreneurial culture. That is why the desire for consensus on the content of the concept of "entrepreneurial culture," as well as its main features, is relevant for modern sociological science. Special attention is paid to the distinction between the concepts of "entrepreneurial culture", "culture of entrepreneurship" and "entrepreneurial ethics." Entrepreneurial culture is considered through the lens of the dynamic correlation of external economic conditions, the internal organizational and technical structure of entrepreneurship and social relations arising between economic entities. Entrepreneurial ethics is a specific element of the entrepreneurial culture, which regulates the regulatory requirements imposed on the subjects of entrepreneurial activity, and justifies the need to follow the moral imperatives of entrepreneurship. The author suggests that there is a significant potential of sociological science in the development of a system of methodological indicators for determining the ethical and normative nature of entrepreneurship.

PR impact on conflict in the information society

The author in this article reflects on the specifics of the conflict situation in the information society and on the impact of public relations on this situation. The information society requires universal access to information as a prerequisite for social change. The author notes that the attitude of researchers to information is ambiguous - from the source of overcoming crises and conflicts to the means of wealth accumulation for individual social groups. The author points out that mass communication can act as coercive to the action of one member of the society by another, which is possible due to the introduction of various assessments of events in the mass consciousness. In response to the increasing importance of communication and information in society, a social institution, such as the Public Relations, is emerging, the main purpose of which is to establish friendly relations with society. The author focuses his scientific interest precisely on conflict situation and delimits manipulative technologies in managing the conflict situation from influencing value-normative attitudes, worldview and ideological principles of the target audience by various situations of conflict.

Ingush felt art as a type of traditional handicraft

The article discusses traditional technological processes of wool processing (cleaning, washing, drying, felting), and describes the local handicrafts used in this process (combs, heckles, spinning wheels, machines). The author identifies the types of carpet felt products - a single-color carpet, or a two-color or multi-color carpets with a felted/rolled or applicative/stitching pattern. Each of the presented types performed its own specific function: wooden chests, trestle beds, and beds were decorated with single two-color ones, they covered the floor, they were used to perform a namaz or during funerary ritual actions. Multicolored felt carpets were used during wedding rites: they were part of the dowry of the bride, they covered the seat of the wedding car, and they decorated the walls of the premises. The work reveals the features and folk secrets of the production of felt cloaks and woolen fabrics. Based on the material of archeology and oral folk art, the author shows the deep archaic nature of the art of spinning and weaving in the Ingush environment. The author arrives at a conclusion that there are similarities between elements of traditional handicraft among ethnic groups of the North Caucasus and the nomadic peoples of Russia.

PRACTICE OF SOCIAL-PERSONAL VIABILITY FORMATION IN TEENAGERS-CADETS ON CIVIL-PATRIOTIC BASIS

In modern sociocultural conditions, the problem of forming the viability of students is of increasing social importance. After graduation from educational organizations they should be ready for life self-determination (professional, social, personal), for the manifestation of the properties of the subject of life activity, as well as to make decisions independently, and to be responsible for the decisions made in the process of life activity. The special importance of studying and solving the problems of forming the socio-personal viability of cadet adolescents is justified. Graduates of cadet educational organizations aimed at replenishing the personnel reserve for state civil and military service contribute to improving the quality of government and strengthening its political strength. However, some graduates of cadet educational organizations demonstrate a subjective attitude to military-professional activities and to public service. DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF THE TECHNOLOGY FOR THE FORMATION OF RECREATIONAL CULTURE OF THE STUDENT

The article discusses the author's approach to the design and implementation of the technology for the formation of recreational culture of the student. The relevance of this area of activity of a contemporary university is due to the need to effectively solve various problems related not only to improving the process of professional training, education and development, but also to finding ways to organize health-promoting work and active recreation of students. This work should be planned and carried out taking into account the requirements of preserving and strengthening the health of students and teachers. The solution of these tasks involves changes in the approaches to the content of the professional activities of university teachers. These activities aim university teachers at wide use of the possibilities of pedagogical design as a tool that ensures increasing the efficiency of the university's health-improving and recreational activities by developing the content of innovative programs, creating effective technologies and models for raising health care and organizing active recreation and rehabilitation of students. The aim of the study is to develop conceptual foundations and test the method of designing pedagogical technology, which allows students to form such a systemic quality as recreational culture. An analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature and practical experience in the implementation of recreational technologies showed their inconsistency with modern requirements for the health of students and university teachers. The existing technologies turned to be complex in content and methods of implementation and require significant material and financial costs. The conceptual foundations of the design and implementation of recreational technology included the following fundamental pedagogical principles: systematics, cultural diversity, professional orientation, individualization and differentiation. The principle of systematics, as well as personal-activity and systemic-activity approaches were chosen as the basic principles in our work. Experimental work was organized and carried out in 2017-2020 at the Faculty of Physical Culture and Tourism of Karachay-Cherkess State University. It was attended by 156 students of 1-4 courses - bachelors of pedagogy and 27 university teachers. The recreational technology developed and implemented by us during the experiment includes a set of interconnected organizational and methodological blocks. During the experimental work on the testing of the developed recreational technology, we obtained results characterizing the success of the process of forming the final integrative indicator - the recreational culture of the student.

ORGANIZATIONAL AND TECHNOLOGICAL SUPPORT FOR THE FORMATION OF METACOMPETENCY OF BACHELORS IN EDUCATION AND TRAINING

The article discusses developing and implementing organizational and technological support for the formation of metacompetence of bachelors in education in the process of their professional training at a university. The content of the educational discipline "Concepts of Modern Natural Science" (CMNS) was taken as an example to identify the features of the implementation of the authors’ approach to its teaching. In this approach one of the important conditions is the possibility of its organization in three main forms (types) - pre-audience, audience, and post-audience. The approach developed by the authors is complex in content, methodically saturated and diverse, organizationally flexible. It focuses students on mastering effective ways to solve various educational and nurturant problems. The shown possibilities of realization of didactic resources of Internet service allow students to use various forms of presentation of educational material, which creates prerequisites for activation and development of their cognitive abilities. A special place in the teaching of the subjects of the natural science cycle is assigned to the implementation of interdisciplinary relations, including in order to implement the principle of clarity, using technical means of training (interactive boards and panels with appropriate software). The main goal of ICT-based classes is to develop students' modeling and analysis skills based on modeling linear and non-linear systems, as well as to monitor the quality of students' assimilation of the necessary natural science knowledge in a modern format. Students are guided to perform computer tasks on their own, which improves the quality of assimilation of material. The authors show the importance of practical lessons on the topics of the CMNS course, including various types of interactive technologies and interactive games, allowing students to achieve the integration of the content of natural science and professional training, which is reflected in the growth of positive motivation to master knowledge on CMNS.

PEDAGOGICAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL GROUNDS OF STYLISTIC APPROACH IN TEACHING SCHOOL STUDENTS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE

In modern pedagogical and psychological sciences, the tendency to systematic study of educational problems directs teachers to consider the concept of the style of educational activity as a holistic psychological and pedagogical characteristic of a developing person, which has firmly entered into scientific use in modern research. In this regard, the search for effective approaches and directions for the development of individual style features of subjects of the educational process is being updated. Our analysis of the existing classifications of individual styles of activity of students and teachers revealed the potential for their adaptation to the practice of teaching a foreign language. During the study, we made the following style typology of students: based on educational preferences; taking into account the rational side of educational activity; the attitude to training material and training; the focus on systematic assimilation of the main content of educational material; and the level of development of intellectual qualities and capabilities of students. It was established that a promising option for implementing a style approach in teaching school students of a foreign language is their distribution taking into account the typology of their styles and organization taking into account the style features of their educational activities. In this direction, the scientific views of D.L. Kolba were widely used in foreign psychological and pedagogical studies. The model he developed was used in our work to determine the type and features of style characteristics of the mastery of students in a foreign language, taking into account the ideas existing in pedagogy, psychology and the method of teaching a foreign language about the course of convergence, divergence, accommodation and assimilation processes. Our research on the basis of the Linguistic School at the Department of Foreign Language and its teaching methods at Armavir State Pedagogical University confirms the importance of taking into account the pedagogical and psychological grounds for using the possibilities of a style approach in teaching school students of a foreign language in the context of modern requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard for basic general education to the quality of education of school students.

SCIENTIFIC APPROACHES TO THE PROCESS OF OPTIMIZING THE LIFE OF FEMALE CADETS

Scientific approaches are substantiated in determining the principles and organizational and pedagogical conditions of the process of optimizing the educational process in military universities, which ensures effective educational adaptation of female cadets and specific means and methods for its implementation. The relevance of the choice of methodological approaches is justified by the effective adaptation necessary for the quality of education, taking into account the specificity of the educational environment of a military university, as well as the fact that the recruitment of girls to military universities began to occur relatively recently. In this aspect, leading theoretical provisions characterizing the essence of pedagogical optimization and optimality criteria in modeling the process of optimizing the life activity of trainees are presented. The considered semantic contents of a number of scientific approaches, which have presented similar causal relationships in service, allow us to purposefully highlight the necessary and sufficient set of defining methodological principles and to specify their essence as much as possible in relation to our research.

STUDY OF TENDENCY TO MANIPULATIVE BEHAVIOR IN FUTURE TEACHER-STUDENTS OF SECONDARY VOCATIONAL EDUCATION SYSTEM

The relevance of the topic of research is justified by the spread of manipulation as a way of influence and interaction in the field of education. The manipulative behavior of teachers towards students contradicts humanistic values, creates risks of socialization of children and adolescents. The purpose of the study is to study the degree of manipulation of students - future teachers. The article provides the results of the theoretical analysis of the concept of "manipulation" in the pedagogical context. The necessity of purposeful prevention of manipulative activity of teachers and prevention/correction of manipulative installations in trainees is justified. Summarized results of diagnostics of the above-mentioned problem in the field of secondary vocational education are presented. Theoretical and empirical grounds for modeling the process and content of prevention of manipulative activity of future teachers are determined. The results of the study were empirical data confirming the presence of manipulative attitudes among future teachers. This seems to justify the need to develop a model for the formation of students' knowledge and skills in the field of actualizing pedagogical activity as one of the most important professional competencies. The hypothetical model should be based on the ideas of self-actualization (A. Maslow), the opposite of manipulation and actualization (E. Shostrom), the opposition of manipulation to hidden psychological influence in the interests of students (V.P. Sheinov).

FITNESS TECHNOLOGY POTENTIAL IN STRENGTHENING THE PSYCHOLOGICAL HEALTH OF WOMEN OF PRE-RETIREMENT AGE

Due to the change in the social policy of the state regarding older people, as well as the increase in the retirement age, the importance of preserving and improving the health of citizens of pre-retirement age, including women of this group, has increased. To extend active longevity, they must have a sufficient level of physical, psychological, and social health, which is now far from optimal indicators. It is well known that all components of human health are interconnected and mutually conditioned. Therefore, the maintenance and promotion of personal psychological health and physical health can be effectively carried out by means of physical education and health technologies, among which fitness technology is among the modern and popular among women. Thus, today the need to strengthen the psychological health of women of pre-retirement age, including by means of recreational physical education (in particular, fitness technology), is objectified. However, there is still a lack of scientific knowledge in the field of potential and features of the use of fitness technology to strengthen the psychological health. This article presents the results of a study on determining the potential of fitness technologies in maintaining and strengthening the psychological health of women of pre-retirement age. To achieve this goal, it was necessary to clarify the essence of a person's psychological health and the factors of its formation in women approaching retirement. Also, it was needed to theoretically determine the possibilities of fitness technology in preventing the deterioration of the psychological health in pre-pension women, and empirically identify the current state of their psychological health and interests in the field of maintaining physical education and recreation activities.

INDIVIDUALLY DIFFERENTIATED CONTENT OF HEALTH-IMPROVING PHYSICAL EDUCATION CLASSES WITH ELDERLY PEOPLE

The increase in the life expectancy of the population has actualized the problem of ensuring decent living conditions and improving the quality of life of older people. The quality of life depends significantly on the state of health, the indicators of which in older people are influenced by many factors. Under the influence of these factors, there is a decrease in efficiency, a narrowing of the circle of communication, a decrease in the number of social contacts, etc. Analysis of the combination of socio-demographic, psychological, economic, physical and other characteristics inherent in the group of elderly people allows us to consider the occupation of health-improving physical culture as one of the optimal in many parameters (socio-communicative, financial, economic, psychophysical) means of maintaining the health of older people. In a significant way, the effectiveness of physical education classes determines a person's motivation for motor activity. In turn, motivation depends both on the correspondence of the content of classes to individual or group interests, and on the ability of a person (physical, psychological, etc.) to master this content. The leading methodological basis for the effective organization of health physical education classes with older people is an individually differentiated approach. Despite the sufficient theoretical and practical development of ideas of an individually differentiated approach in pedagogy and psychology, there remains a lack of scientific knowledge in the implementation of its provisions for organizing health-improving physical education classes with older people, which creates a scientific contradiction. The purpose of our research is to determine the forms, methods and content of health-improving physical education classes with older people basing on an individually differentiated approach.

Features of the bilingual language personality and the bilingual language environment (based on the texts of I.A. Krylov’s fables translated by K.H. Zhane)

The article explores the bilingual language environment and the bilingual language personality. I.A. Krylov’s fables translated by the Adyghe writer K.H. Zhane served as the material for the analysis. The scientific novelty and theoretical significance of the study lies in the comparison of the structures of the Russian and Adyghe languages. It is determined that Krylov, creating fables, and Zhane, translating them, worked at all levels of the language: from phonetic to syntactic. Each of them skillfully used the opportunities of their native language, presenting a bright, multi-faceted personality of their character with the help of his speech portrait. Hypocrisy as a moral quality characterizes many of the main characters of the fables. To achieve the goal, comparative and continuous sampling methods are used. It should be noted that the units of speech in the original texts of Krylov's fables, which have a certain meter, size and are associated with the subsequent text by rhyme, meaning, intonation and syntax, completely coincide with the "Zhane’s" units. Krylov's fables contain many simple sentences, where the verb occupies the last place in the construction, and this coincides with the main principle of sentence construction in the Adyghe language. The practical significance of the studied material lies in the possibility of its inclusion in university lecture courses on linguistics, cognitive linguistics, and linguoculturology.

Adygisms in the cognitive "field" of national foreign-language discourse

Discursive practices in the sociocultural conditions of Adyghe-foreign language artistic bilingualism characterize and identify the ethnic linguistic consciousness of the author, verbalize the code system of discourse, represent the exophony of the authors of the Adyghe language space, i.e., the multi-linguistic personality in the sociocultural conditions of linguistic contacts. The scientific and theoretical significance of the work lies in the identification of the volume and status of the cognitive potential of adygisms functioning in the national-foreign "field" of discourse, which perform an intercommunicative function. Descriptive, identification methods and semantic analysis are used to solve the tasks. The relevance of the article is due to the importance of studying the activity of the author's consciousness of the linguistic personality in intensive conditions of language contacts. The conclusions show that the cognitive potential of adygisms contributes to the formation of a multi-linguistic picture of the world in the Adyghe language space, aimed at the formation of intercultural communication, exophony of discursive practices - dialogue of cultures. The practical value of the work lies in representation of the semiotic foundations of the cognitive potential of Adyghe culture, realized in the triad: globalization - intertext - dialogue of cultures.

Naming convention in the Republic of Estonia: historical and linguocultural aspect

The relevance of the work is that some Estonian anthroponyms are analyzed in terms of how the traditions of naming have changed over a long time (from the pre-pagan period to modern legislative regulation). Of the more than 8,000 Estonian personal names, the most characteristic ones were selected to show grammatical, historical, cultural and other features. The goal is to collect and summarize the main stages of forming the preferences of Estonians on what name to give the child at birth. Using linguoculturological analysis, the relationship between the name and status-role identification of a person in society is argued. Brief conclusions are given about what affects the name in the Republic of Estonia today: this is a historical continuity, a cultural relationship, and the desire of parents to give a Western European name so that the child can live comfortably in the European Union in the future. A generalized historical and linguistic-cultural analysis of the name fund of the Estonian language is carried out for the first time. The theoretical significance of the work is to understand the variability of preferences when choosing a child's name in Estonian society, depending on the religious, economic or political situation. The practical value of the above material lies in the possibility of its application in university lecture courses in linguoculturology.

The article explores precedent phenomena in the press focused on male and female values, taking into account social factors, as well as modifications of gender-marked precedent phenomena. Reconstructed stereotypes are revealed, reflecting the ethno-gender picture of the world of the domestic ethnos. Conclusions are drawn about the active role of transformed precedent phenomena that attract readers' attention to gender problems in the Russian environment and represent the ethnocultural views of subjects refracted through the prism of a particular community, and socio-cultural values reflecting gender differentiation. The relevance is that dynamic changes in life contribute to the search by journalists for new forms that can draw the reader's attention to social problems, and the development of society at the beginning of the 21st century contributes to the evolution of individual gender stereotypes. They are some sociocultural components stored in the memory of men and women and fixing reality. The study of media discourse predetermined the use of continuous sampling, context analysis, analytical and descriptive methods. Research materials can be applied in reading special courses in sociolinguistics and medialinguistics.

Occasional phraseological units of the Chinese language: semantic and pragmatic aspects

This article deals with study of the word-formation abilities of the most unchanging, stable layer of the vocabulary of the modern Chinese language – idioms. Occasional chengyu is the object of our scientific interest. The source of the research is the modified idioms operating in the Chinese Internet and published on the Internet platforms of modern media. The paper shows the specifics of the modification of idiomatic expressions in terms of semantics and structure. The research dwells upon the cultural and pragmatic aspects in the formation of occasional chengyu. It is concluded that homonymy is the most productive basis for wordplay in the Chinese language. Culturological and semantic substitutions-puns using consonances are a necessary element of a language game and serve as a kind of pragmatic tool for deepening cultural content, creating a philosophical subtext, forming a stylistic effect and enhancing the emotional impact of occasional phraseological formations. The results of the research can be used in the courses in linguistics, lexicology, stylistics, phraseology and linguoculture of the modern Chinese language.

The concept of expressiveness in scientific discourse (based on English-language scientific articles)

Recently, there has been a tendency towards greater expressiveness of the scientific text. The novelty and relevance of this study is the analysis of an English scientific text from the point of view of expressing the shades of meaning that make it more interesting and convincing for the reader. This makes it possible to highlight a new type of the text - informative-motivating text and determine its characteristics. The study was carried out by comparative typological method, the method of using communication strategies and content analysis. The research results allow distinguishing the concepts of “scientific text” and “scientific discourse”. The analysis of the English sources shows that the transfer of important scientific information is carried out through a certain linguistic formulation based on the subjective perception of the authors of the scientific text and their assessment and professional attitudes. The aspects of the evaluative sphere of thinking related to intellectual expressiveness and cognitive assessment are considered. Because of the fact that the use of emotional-evaluative techniques is not included in the main characteristics of scientific discourse and its varieties, the article proposes a classification of syntactic stylistic devices used to solve such a communicative task of scientific texts as attracting the addressee’s attention and stimulating their interest in the statement. It is noted that the following syntactic stylistic devices occupy the largest number of the means of speech expressiveness identified in the course of the study: repetitions, rhetorical questions, cleft sentences, emphatic constructions of the “not only but” type, sentences with double negation, inversion. The research data could be applied to the description of the pragmatic features of scientific discourse.

“Wahrheit” basic concept model in German linguoculture

The article discusses semantic markers of the basic concept WAHRHEIT revealed as a result of linguistic analysis. The aim is a comprehensive multilateral study of the concept in German culture from the standpoint of the cognitive-semantic approach for constructing its core model. The analysis procedure involves the data analysis of a free associative experiment conducted among representatives of German culture, as well as the interpretation of the text corpus of the social network Twitter. The combination of different methods enables building of a reliable model of the concept. The core characteristic of the concept is its embeddedness in the system of moral and ethical standards. Numerous antonymic units with the marker ‘denial of truth’ and ‘distortion of truth’ were identified. The invariant semantic markers ‘objective reality’ and ‘truthful statement’ codified in the dictionaries are operating mainly in text corpus. Among the identified additional markers, recurrent are ‘discomfort’, ‘risks to the truth’ and ‘degree of completeness’. The concept Wahrheit is the basic concept of the German culture; its importance is evidenced by the predominance of subjective-emotional markers.

Figurative understanding of the word as a means of forming irony in E.M. Remarque’s prose and its translations into Russian

The object of the article is to consider the problem of asymmetry between form and content, which entails incomplete coverage of the content plan by the expression plan, on the basis of the language of the works of the German writer E. M. Remarque and their Russian translations. The authors' goal is to reveal the mechanisms of creating irony and analyze the linguistic means of its expression in the texts under study. In this case, a comprehensive methodology is used, which provides for component, contextual and comparative types of analysis. With the help of irony as a meaningful category of a literary text, the writer manages to convey an emotional and evaluative attitude to the depicted reality. The scientific and practical significance of the work lies in the fact that both the phenomenon of irony itself and its study on the basis of the language of E. M. Remarque's fiction remain poorly studied. The authors arrive at a conclusion that the writer in his novels assigns the main role in creating implicit meanings to lexical and semantic means, the possibilities of which are very diverse.

The object of study of the article is the mechanisms of formation and description of the concept "city" in the book of the Turkish writer Orhan Pamuk "Istanbul. The City of Memories". The purpose of the article is to describe the linguistic means by which the discriptive analysis of this concept is carried out. When considering texts, a complex methodology is used, including component, contextual and comparative types of analysis. It turns out that the concept of "city" is realized in the texts of the writer through certain meanings, images, patterns and assessments inherent in the national mentality and worldview, as well as Turkish cultural traditions and customs. The scientific and practical significance of the work is lies in the fact that the concept of "city" remains still poorly understood. The paper concludes that the expressive means in the language are represented through units of different levels. The basis of the system of expressiveness is the lexical means that most fully express this category, while syntactic means are considered as peripheral.

Analysis of the dichotomy ‘variative / typical’ of the core of the lexical meaning of the word classified as the functional potential of the definite article

The paper deals with specific characteristics of the definite article. The functional potential of the definite article is seen as connected with dichotomy ‘general / specific’ of the core of the lexical meaning of the word. The definite article marks the individual features of the referent, on the one hand, as non-variable, and on the other hand, as specific, in the lexical meaning of the noun considered as typical in a line of co-hyponyms. The research shows that the function of the definite article is to indicate that a specific referent is single-variant. The definite article marks lexical-semantic fields from the point of view of compatible-incompatible paradigmatic relations: co-hyponyms, antonyms, synonyms, as well as attributed to certain thematic blocks of the thesaurus.

English prepositions of “inside” localization - from, out (of), through, throughout

Many scientists who study the meanings of prepositions based on various phrases obtain data on the meanings of prepositions as part of these combinations, while losing the meaning of the preposition itself. This article discusses only a few of the prepositions of “being inside”, their meanings in English and the way they are conveyed in Russian. In modern English, unlike Russian, the case system is not represented (with the exception of the possessive) and the meanings of case relations between words are conveyed only by prepositions (about 27 prepositions of spatial semantics). In Russian, the meanings of English prepositions are conveyed using prepositions + case. The results of the study make it possible to use the obtained results as an auxiliary methodological material for teachers, students studying English, and can also serve as the basis for a comparative-typological study of the morphology of English and some other foreign languages that are studied in secondary schools and universities.

    Hydrographic terms in modern Azerbaijani

This article explores the hydrographic terms of the modern Azerbaijani language. The fact that this sphere of the terminology of the Azerbaijani language is not sufficiently covered in the scientific literature determines the relevance of this study. In the course of the research within the framework of this article, descriptive and comparative methods of linguistics were used. The scientific novelty of the article is that the etymological and structural analysis of hydro-terms of the Azerbaijani language is carried out here for the first time. It is argued that the study of the linguistic composition and etymology of these names can clarify a number of socio-political and historical events. The article also classifies the geographical terms-hydronyms of the Azerbaijani language in several groups according to the presence of different lexical units in their composition. Summing up, in the Azerbaijani language 99% of hydronyms are formed from words of Turkic origin. The author notes that the terms-hydronyms in the Azerbaijani language can be grouped as one-part, two-part, three-part and four-part lexical units. It is interesting that in the Azerbaijani language there are no specific suffixes for the formation of hydronomic terms. To create this lexical layer, the Azerbaijani language uses words such as çay — "river", göl — "lake", dəniz — "sea", etc.

The authors consider the "Overton window" in the aspect of the formation of a positive myth about Siberia and Siberians in the cinematic discourse about the Second World War. The article analyzes the main mythologemes “the man of the North and Siberia”, implemented in the cinematic military discourse. According to the authors, these images not only give an idea of the participation of various northern peoples in World War II, but also form a positive attitude towards a person from the Siberian North. The article traces the main trends in the design of the image, the level of relevance of the topic of the participation of northern peoples in the events of the Second World War. It also examines the psychological characteristics and distinctive features of the northern peoples in a military retrospective. The key point in the study is the representation of the mythologeme “a man of the North” in the military cinematic discourse through visual content, which clearly defines the strategy for automating the development of public reactions to a particular cinematic polycode work, including the verbal-paraverbal complex of the Siberia mythologeme. The relevance of the article is due to the important geopolitical and strategic importance in world civilization and attempts to construct myths about Siberia and Siberians in various types of discourse.

The use of stylistic devices and means of evaluative semantics in the English newspaper discourse

Modern newspaper discourse actively participates in the formation of public opinion, and performs an important public function, quickly reacting to events taking place in the world. The development of PR technologies and technologies for controlling the reader's perception causes the appearance in modern newspapers of a wide variety of emotionally colored linguistic means. The article provides a classification of the most common expressive means characteristic of modern English newspaper discourse. Particular attention is paid to ways of achieving informative, manipulative and ideological functions of newspaper discourse. The materials of the research were the texts of modern English newspapers. The study was carried out by using the methods of communication strategies, comparative typological, content analysis and psychological methods. The paper highlights the mechanisms of using the “friend-or-foe” opposition in politically oriented texts of newspaper discourse. It is noted that the creation of stereotypes and images of a politician and political power is based on syntactic, lexical and phonetic stylistic devices such as lexical repetition, metaphor, allusion, hyperbole or understatement, graphic stylistic means. An important role in the transmission and perception of meaning in the English newspaper discourse is assigned to the language game. The article considers the use of means of evaluative semantics in creating a negative image of a politician, a representative of an opposing political party. The data obtained in the framework of the presented scientific study show that manipulation of the reader’s mind leads to the formation of a stereotype of a weak politician and a general apathetic attitude towards the further prospects of the country’s development, as well as towards the British democratic institutions themselves.

The problem of innovation in the work of the Circassian poet and writer Murat Bratov

This study for the first time analyzes the works of the talented contemporary bilingual poet and writer Murat Bratov. Although from his pen came a collection of poems, short stories, two novels (co-authored), which clearly contain elements of innovation both in content and in form, his art has not been the subject of attention of the Adyghe literary studies and criticism. In this work, the author discusses his findings in this direction and confirms them by specific literary texts. It is noted that in the stories of M. Bratov, the real and the rational are intertwined, the role of subtexts is great, significant place in them is given to allegories, grotesques, and mysticism. Many of the poet's poems are experimental in nature. The author is distinguished by paradoxical and philosophical thinking. A significant place in the article is given to the issues of the poet's skill, his unexpected comparisons, epithets, metaphors, and author's word formation. As for his novels "In the Name of the Revolution, or To Plodding for Edification" and "After that..." (They were written in collaboration with Evgeny Tashu), their genre was defined by the authors as "new demotivator novels". In the article, an attempt is made to determine the place of an unusual author in the modern literary process.

The crisis of personal identity in classical and non-classical prose

The article examines the peculiarities of textual representation of ego identity in works belonging to modern and classical literature. The purpose of the work is to explore self-determination crisis experienced by the heroes. The scientific significance of such a study lies in deepening the understanding of the poetics of modern prose, in particular about the ways of presenting a person in it. The main methods of this work are narratological, which made it possible to identify the ways of implementing the crisis of ego identity, and the comparative method, which permitted us to correlate samples of classical and non-classical prose. During the study, text markers are revealed, signaling that the problem of destroying self-identity is significant for the heroes of E. Vodolazkin, Z. Prilepin, K. Buksha, D. Dragunsky etñ. Those are a motive of forgetting the name, illusory mirror reflection, a plot about the impossibility to portray oneself, etc. Relating the novel by M. Shishkin "Everyone Expects One Night. Notes by Larionov" with the autobiographical trilogy of L. Tolstoy and other classic self-narratives, the author concludes that the teleologically oriented construction of the story of personality formation in a modern novel is impossible. Changes are also taking place in the nature of the reconstructed self - it loses the identity, ceases to represent itself as a constant value, turns out to be indeterminable through historization or mythologization, the carrier of such self is acutely experiencing inconsistency of essence and role. The practical significance of this research lies in using its results in the development of university and school courses devoted to the poetics of contemporary literature.

The concept of Motherland in the works of Mehmet Niyazi: genesis and poetics

The article examines the life path, literary and journalistic heritage of the prominent Crimean Tatar writer, educator in exile Mehmet Niyazi (1878–1931). The author of this study makes historiographical analysis of scientific works, biographical essays, memoirs of contemporaries and present-day researchers of the works of the master of the pen. Some insufficiently studied archival materials from the collections of V.I. Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine are introduced into scientific circulation. For example, these are rare issues of the Crimean Tatar newspaper in Arabic script "Haq ses" ("Voice of Truth"), published in 1918 in the Crimea with the participation of M. Niyazi. The relevance and scientific novelty of the work is due to the lack of knowledge of the designated topic. In order to highlight the literary personality and life values of the author, we analyzed genre, linguistic, philosophical and ethical features of his poetic works. Their close connection with folklore and mythological traditions and historical events of sacred significance for the Crimean Tatars is established. The concept of "Motherland" in the poet's artistic interpretation is revealed. The author of this study arrives at a conclusion that M. Niyazi associates himself with the image of the defender and guardian of the nation. In the dialogue with the reader, he pays great attention to the lack of education, disunity of the Crimean Tatar youth, and the indifferent attitude of the people to the fate of the ancestral homeland. Crimea, in the poet's understanding, is a green Edenic island, where any orphaned and strip-mined finds a new hope for a happy life, comprehends the deep meaning of love for the Motherland. The iconic image of orphanhood in the work of the lyricist takes on an expanded meaning: the tragedy of the deprivation of the Motherland, the spiritual and patriotic crisis of the ethnic society. By calling for unity and work to overcome the spiritual crisis, the poet seeks to free the people from the complex of orphanhood and hopelessness. But, due to personal idealistic views, the lyricist is subject to melancholy, disappointment. Thus, despondency, anxiety, death, orphanhood, heavy thoughts are the main motives of Niyazi's poetic cycle. After all, the happiness of living in the homeland for him turns into a tragedy of loneliness among his compatriots.

Time pattern and artistic thanatology as elements of the existential chronotope in the lyrics of S.Ya. Marshak

The purpose of the study is to identify the features of late philosophical lyrics by S.Ya. Marshak using an example of poems reflecting existential motifs. Based on the traditional cultural and historical method, the leading features of the lyrical chronotope of poetry by S.Ya. Marshak of the late period are determined, in particular, the constants and parameters of the category of artistic time as one of the components of the author's ontological concept through the implementation of his dialectical concept of peace and man. The main characteristics of psychologism and the complex semantic and stylistic organization of his lyrical discourse are revealed. The functions of two independent, but also interconnected components of the chronotope are considered - the first, connected with chronological rhythms and processes of the natural world, and the second, determined by the dynamics of human existence, his personality in the context of the natural chronotope. The authors determined the role and place of artistic thanatology of S.Ya. Marshak in the general ontological paradigm of his lyrics, analyzed the features of the aphoristic genre nature, poetics and styles of his lyrics in revealing the basic societal problems of life and death. Conclusions are drawn about the features of the creative method of S. Marshak and the modern sound of his lyrics. Those are that the thanatological paradigm and the corresponding discourse, although they do not occupy a dominant position in the lyrics of S.Ya. Marshak, are deeply "inscribed" in the context of his philosophical lyrics which is deeply realistic and unobtrusively supplemented with specific details, episodes of personal biography and fate.

The problem of individual freedom and its humanistic solution in the works of I. Mashbash

The article discusses the ways and methods of artistic embodiment of the problem of individual freedom in the works of the classic of the Adyghe literature I.Sh. Mashbash. The author explores the key problem for Russian philosophy and literature of the 19th century, the freedom and non-freedom of the human person, which turned out to be relevant for national North Caucasus literature for social reasons in the 20th century. A special position of North Caucasus literature, interpreting freedom, primarily, as the problem of the foundation of human existence, a necessary condition for the development of the individual, is highlighted. Historical novels by I. Mashbash are taken as an example to analyze the problems of the influence of freedom and non-freedom on a person's moral choice, his responsibility to other people, gaining new spiritual guidelines in the space of non-freedom (physical, moral). The analysis made suggests that freedom is not only a condition of the natural existence of man, but also his qualitative essence, meaning and ideal. The work contributes to solving issues related to the landmark phenomenon in the development of North Caucasus literature - the artistic and ontological mastery of the most complex and deepest genetically related historical problems: Mahajirism, the Caucasus War, the political regime, which are considered in line with philosophical, ontological and moral-psychological issues.

Second-order stochastic differential equations: stability, dissipativity, periodicity. III. – A survey

This paper is a continuation of the previous paper and presents the third part of the author’s work. The paper reviews results concerning qualitative properties of second-order stochastic differential equations and systems. In the first part we gave a short overview on stability of solutions of the second-order stochastic differential equations and systems by Lyapunov functions techniques and introduced some mathematical preliminaries from probability theory and stochastic processes. In the second part the construction of Ito’s and Stratonovich’s stochastic integrals are given. Here, in the third part, analog of the chain rule for stochastic differentials (Ito’s formula), is presented. The stochastic differential equations in the sense of Ito and in the sense of Stratonovich are introduced and the relation between these two forms of equations is established. The existence and uniqueness theorem for solutions of stochastic differential equations is formulated.
