INFORMATION FOR THE AUTHORS

1. Vestnik Adygeiskogo Gosudarstvennogo Universiteta (The Bulletin of Adyghe State University) is an official peer-reviewed scientific quarterly, published at the Adyghe State University, Maikop, Russia, under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.

The journal is published on the basis of the decision of the ASU Academic Council and the Certificate on Registration of Mass Media by Federal Agency of Supervision in Sphere of Telecommunication, Information Technologies and Mass Communications El ¹ FS77-50781 of 27 July 2012.

The journal presents the results of original research work and experiments in the field of social, natural and technical sciences and the humanities. It also publishes review articles, opinion articles and discussion of scientists evaluating the current situation and prospects of scientific development.

2. Materials for publication. One copy of computer printouts and the Author’s data (the surname, a name and a patronymic of the author, an academic status, a scientific degree, a position, affiliation (in detail without abbreviations), the postal index, the address, contact phone and an e-mail of each coauthor given at the end of the article) should be sent together with the compact disc at the following address: Redaktsiya “Vestnik Adygeiskogo Gosudarstvennogo Universiteta”, Adyghe State University, 208 Pervomayskaya Str., Maikop, 385000, Russia

3. General conditions

Upon submitting a paper to be published the Author (Authors) transfer copyright to the Publishing House of the Bulletin of Adyghe State University. The works qualified for publication become therefore the property of the Publishing House of the Bulletin of Adyghe State University and cannot be published elsewhere without the written permission of the Publisher. The work submitted for publication in the Bulletin of Adyghe State University cannot be submitted for publication earlier on or simultaneously in any other periodical. The Author is required to make a written statement to this effect. If the work includes any figures, tables, etc. which have already been published elsewhere, the Author is obliged to obtain a written permission for reprinting.

The Bulletin of Adyghe State University accepts original papers, information about conferences, reports from congresses and conferences, short summaries of works published in foreign periodicals and book reviews. Original works are accepted in Russian and English.

All papers should be no longer than 10 pages with 1800 letters per page (i.e. 30 lines 60 points each). They should be in 1.0 spaced typewriting on one side of the paper only.

4. Rules of constructing the work:

The accompanying letter should contain both home and office addresses and the information at which address to send the correspondence.

Papers should contain the following information: title, name(s) of the author(s), key words in Russian and in English, abstract in Russian and in English, introduction, material, methods, results and discussion, conclusions and bibliography.

The number of key words should be from 3 to 10.

The abstract has to contain: the purpose of the work, material, methods, results and conclusions. The abstract should not contain less than 200 and no more than 250 words.

The reference materials should be numbered using Arabic numerals and placed in the order they are quoted in the work (not in the alphabetic order). Each item of the reference materials should be written in a new line. The surname(s) of the author(s) of the quoted work should be followed by the initials of their first name(s), then the original title of the journal where the work was published should be given. While quoting the reference materials in the text, only square parentheses with the number of the quoted item in Arabic numerals should be given. When quoting two or more works the square parentheses should contain the chronological order of their publication.

All the illustrations have to be of high quality. Physical or chemical formulae should be written clearly. This refers particularly to indices and exponents.

The article can be written using the editor of MS Word 6.0 to 2007, preferably DOC or RTF format. Illustrations and tables should be packed in separate files and, on the printouts, the place where they are to be included should be marked in pencil. The graphs should be made in black. While typing the paper we kindly ask you to use due to esthetic reasons, Times New Roman font, size 12, fields from above, from below, on the left and on the right 2.5 cm. Bold print, italics, etc., should be limited to the necessary minimum. While scanning the illustrations, the distribution should be at least 300 dpi. Black and white illustrations (line art) should be sent in TIFF format or JPG format (at the low degree of compression, up to 10%). All the files should be packed using RAR or ZIP. After copying them on CD it is necessary to check if all the files are copied.

5. Editor’s remarks

All the materials are evaluated and anonymously reviewed.

The reviewers’ opinion is passed on to the Author by the editor.

The proof copy of the article will be emailed to the Author as a PDF file. When the necessary corrections are made and the article is approved of by the Author, it should be emailed back within 10 days to the editorial board of the Bulletin of Adyghe State University. A delay in sending back the article may postpone its printing till the next issue of the journal.

The Publisher of the Bulletin of Adyghe State University reserves the right to do stylistic revisions as well as the possible right to correct nomenclature and to shorten texts.

The article should be sent with a cover letter signed by a senior researcher, who is responsible for the content of the article.

The Author gets a free copy of the Bulletin of Adyghe State University when the corrected proof copy is returned. The journal in book form can be ordered on condition of payment at the e-mail address of the corresponding field of knowledge indicated in paragraph 2.

Publication Ethics and Publication Malpractice Statement

The Bulletin of Adyghe State University ("Vestnik Adygeiskogo Gosudarstvennogo Universiteta”) is a peer-reviewed journal. Manuscripts submitted to the Bulletin of Adyghe State University are evaluated entirely on the basis of their scientific content, without regard to race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political orientation of the authors.

The Editor and any editorial staff will not disclose any information about a submitted manuscript to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, potential reviewers, and the publisher.

Authors of articles submitted to the Bulletin of Adyghe State University are required to present an accurate account of their work. Fraudulent or knowingly inaccurate or knowingly incomplete statements are considered unethical and are unacceptable. The authors should communicate entirely original works, and if they have used the work of others, this has to be appropriately cited or quoted.

The corresponding author should ensure that all co-authors are included on the article, and that all co-authors have seen and approved the final version of the article and have agreed to its publication. When an author discovers a significant error or inaccuracy in his/her own published work, it is the author's obligation to promptly notify the Editor and cooperate with the Editor to retract or correct the paper.

Authors of articles submitted to the Bulletin of Adyghe State University are required that the same or similar article has not been published previously and is not simultaneously considered for publication elsewhere. Authors of articles published in the Bulletin of Adyghe State University should not publish the same or similar article elsewhere, unless an agreement from the Bulletin of Adyghe State University is obtained. In this latter case a statement must be given in the newly published article about the place where it has been published for the first time. Authors who violate these requirements will be denied to publish in the Bulletin of Adyghe State University in the future.

The authors should ensure that they have written entirely original works, and if the authors have used the works of others, that this has been appropriately cited or quoted. If plagiarism is detected, the respective article will be retracted, and the respective author(s) denied to publish in the Bulletin of Adyghe State University in the future. If the plagiarised article has already been published, in the next available issue of the Bulletin of Adyghe State University an appropriate statement will be given, and the electronic version of the article appropriately marked.
